"When is it After" is an animated film, that explores the miluim experience during the Swords of Iron War, and created while serving in a lengthy reserve duty.
David and his fellow reservists are stationed in the middle of a forest in northern Israel. During their stay the seasons change and shift, nature continues its course, but the reservists’ lives freeze in time. They live in a continuous present, far from home, trying to imagine the future that awaits them "when it is after". The lives they have left behind, their longings and hopes are revealed in the film through David’s perspective and his conversations with his friends.
